Gladman elsewhere

A quick trawl on the internet shows that Potterspury is not alone – there are dozens of small towns and villages around the country facing unwanted developments from Gladman (and other developers).

The problem centres on the government’s requirement that local councils can demonstrate that they have a five-year land supply for new houses.  Many – including South Northants – assert that they have,  but they are being challenged in the courts by developers who see this as a loophole to build more houses in open country.

This is a selection, in no particular order,  of just a few articles from local newspapers around the country.
